In 1995, the Knight Institute for Writing in the Disciplines published the first issue of Discoveries, a collection of award-winning essays written by undergraduate students at Cornell University. Since then, Discoveries continues to feature the quality, range, and inventiveness of our cross/interdisciplinary writing community.
The exceptional performances captured in the pages of our 9 first issues celebrate the individual achievements of each writer; they also make visible the remarkable everyday learning and teaching moments seen widely across our undergraduate writing program, those represented in these issues of Discoveries and indeed well beyond.
