As we write toward the end of the semester, students are likely facing more challenging writing assignments as well as the ongoing pressure of prelims and time management. I hope that you will take a few minutes out of your next FWS class to remind them of the CWC’s schedule and offerings. Some specific points to mention include:
The Cornell Writing Centers can support students on any kind of writing project at any stage of the drafting process. Our trained tutors can help them to understand assignments, brainstorm getting started, revise drafts, deepen analysis and strengthen claims, and to understand faculty feedback on papers. Additionally, all our tutors are trained to work with multilingual students writing in English.
Writers can either make an appointment or simply walk in to any of our physical locations. This semester, we are offering both in-person tutoring and synchronous online appointments. To make an appointment, register and login here: https://cornell.mywconline.net/
