Join a Write-In!

Write-ins are blocks of time when you meet online with about one to five other people. At the beginning, you share your goals (e.g., write an abstract, find three new sources, proofread my email), and then you work to accomplish your goals. At the end of sessions, you report how well you did.

Having a set time to write helps you make progress. Working with others makes writing less lonely. Telling others your goals helps you accomplish them.

Sign up once or multiple times a week. There is no limit, and there is no penalty for missing an appointment. All Cornell students and anyone in the Cornell community (e.g., Postdocs, Humphrey Fellows, Continuing Ed students) are welcome to join.

To sign up, go here: https://cornell.mywconline.com/

Then choose “Write-Ins Sp25” from the schedules.

If you have any questions, please contact Nathan Lindberg at nathanlindberg@cornell.edu or Ru Liu at rl587@cornell.edu.

We look forward to seeing you!

This program is co-sponsored by the English Language Support Office and the Graduate Writing Service.
