Working on writing projects this summer? Work smarter by getting support, feedback, and encouragement from a writing tutor!
Cornell's Summer Writing Center supports all students and alum on any kind of writing project at any stage of the drafting process. Tutors (trained graduate students) serve as responsive listeners and readers who can address questions about the writing process or about particular pieces of writing. They can also consider questions of confidence, critical reading, analytic thought, organization and imagination, as well as help identify patterns of error at the sentence or paragraph-level.
The Summer Writing Center offers primarily in-person tutoring, with some online synchronous tutoring sessions by appointments. Drop-in visitors are more than welcome, or writers can register with our online scheduling system and make appointments here: https://cornell.mywconline.net/
