The KNIGHTLYnews is an online forum where FWS instructors and other teachers of writing can swap and share ideas for best classroom practice. Weekly posts are designed to help teachers develop lesson plans and writing assignments, and respond to classroom challenges by introducing new teaching tools and sharing emerging pedagogical ideas. Posts also direct readers to program and campus resources that support teaching and learning, and provide opportunities for peer collaboration and mentorship.
Thank you for your ongoing support! With referrals from FWS instructors like you, the Cornell Writing Centers are having a very busy semester supporting writers. Today I’m writing to request your help in promoting our fall EXAM HOURS. This semester, our last day of normal tutoring hours will be Monday, December 4th.
During exams, we offer tutoring support from 3:00-5:00pm in Rockefeller 178 on the following days:
- Tuesday, Dec. 5
- Wednesday, Dec. 6
- Thursday, Dec. 7
- Friday, Dec. 8
- Monday, Dec. 11
- Tuesday, Dec. 12
- Wednesday, Dec. 13
- Thursday, Dec. 14
We will have 4-5 tutors working each day, and as always, writers are welcome to either drop in or make an appointment online:
